Calgary’s PGA Champions Tour Event, the Shaw Charity Classic, is giving back to the community again in 2016.
Thanks to your support last year, Birdies for Kids presented by Altalink has once again selected the Calgary Public Library Foundation as one of its charitable partners. This means the Calgary Public Library Foundation will receive 100% of all designated donations and up to 50% in extra funding through the matching gift program.
Support programs and services for Calgary’s kids by making a onetime donation OR pledging as little as a penny for each birdie made during the Championship rounds, which will take place from August 31 September 4. Last year, Champions Tour players racked up 858 birdies.
With the matching gift program, your $50 donation could result in an additional $25 directed to the Library Foundation.
