The Calgary Public Library has 18 locations across the city, which we use to save you from shipping costs and to ensure that we can offer our products at a great price. Simply select your community library from the drop-down menu upon check out.
If you are purchasing a product from outside of Calgary, or would prefer to have it shipped to your home, shipping rates apply and will be built in at checkout. Shipping rates are based on a box 6" x 6" x 6" and sent through Canada Post. For more information or any concern over shipping costs please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
We want you to love any item purchased through librarystore.ca. If you don’t and would like to receive a refund, please return your items to the Calgary Public Library Foundation office located at 429 8th Ave SE.
All refunds will be issued through librarystore.ca immediately upon return.
The Foundation office is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. To access through the back door entrance, please use the buzzer. Any products purchased from your community library can be returned there, however all refunds will be issued by the Foundation and may take up to 10 business days to complete in this scenario.

The Library’s Homebound Readers program changes lives and builds community by providing materials to those who are temporarily or permanently unable to visit the Library.
Homebound Readers, which promotes lifelong learning, inclusion and independence, was the first volunteer program at the Library and has been in operation for more than forty years.
Each month, Library volunteers visit homebound patrons to pick up and deliver materials and provide needed social interaction. Volunteers regularly meet with Library staff to discuss their homebound patron’s needs and ensure that they are provided new, interesting materials. More than just an opportunity to for new books, homebound patrons often develop life-long friendships with volunteers, who contribute enormously to their quality of life.
This fund was established by the Lathrop family to honour their mother Becky Lathrop, a life-long volunteer for the Calgary Public Library who has dedicated many years of service to Homebound Readers.
This fund has been endowed in perpetuity and will support the volunteers and clients of the Homebound Readers program.
