"I made this and the other pin into magnets for the refrigerator. If anybody else is interested the process was pretty straightforward. I clipped the pin from the back with wire cutters, got some mouldable glue (Sugru) and rolled it into a small ball to press onto the back to cover where the pin was cut, and got some small magnets from the Lee Valley Tools store in Calgary one of which I pressed into the Sugru. Once it had dried and set it worked great as a magnet, looks nice, and is a happy little reminder to pickup and return stuff on time and appreciate what we have in the library :) I can't figure out how to post photos here or if it's possible, and I don't have social media or I'd show pics of the magnets. Also I'm sure you could find hobby magnets somewhere besides Lee Valley Tools and that other things besides Sugru would work as padding/glue. Anyhow, it's an enjoyable little craft to do if one feels so inclined :) I like the pin-now magnet overall, the design is nice and it was easy to order and pickup and arrived quickly."
