"As a Calgary Public Library TD Read With Me volunteer for many years, when I saw the caterpillar and strawberry set in the Library's catalogue I felt I just had to have my 'Very (own) Hungry Caterpillar'. This story book, first published in 1969, and read to thousands of children over the years, teaches them about self-control, well-being and happiness, growth and change. Both the caterpillar and strawberry pins are now on my Library lanyard."
